Voice recognition not working!

1️⃣ The Speak AI becomes smarter as it listens to the user's voice!

At first, the voice recognition rate may be low, but gradually the AI will adapt to the user's voice as it continues to practice speaking.

2️⃣ Please make sure that the environment where you are speaking is quiet!

The recognition rate may decrease if other noise is included. Please practice in a quiet indoor environment, not in an environment with surrounding noise.

3️⃣ If using a Bluetooth device, check the condition of the microphone.

Open the app > 👤 Profile (upper right) > ⚙ Settings (upper right) > Clear Cache

After clearing the cache, end the app in the background and open the app again

Reboot your device

Check if the app has been updated to the latest version

Change your network environment settings (mobile data ↔ Wi-Fi)

End other apps running in the background

Uninstall and reinstall the app

If you still can't get good voice recognition even after taking the basic measures, please check the details below.

🍎 iOS (iPhone) Users


  1. iPhone settings > Scroll down to the very bottom > Speak > Make sure the microphone is on

  2. iPhone settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > Confirm that the microphone and voice recognition are allowed

🤖 Android Users

  1. Completely close the app

  2. Device settings > Applications > Speak > Set microphone permissions to "Deny"

  3. Restart the App > Microphone permission popup message > Set to "Allow only while using the app / Always check"

  4. If you are a Galaxy (Samsung) user, please change the Bixby settings to OFF! Bixby > Settings > Bixby Voice > OFF [Check microphone permissions in Google Apps]

  5. Completely close the app

  6. Settings > Applications > Google > Make sure microphone permissions are allowed
