💡❗️If fraudulent activities are detected through the referral program, the offending user will be blacklisted and will no longer be able to introduce friends, and the issuance of rewards will also be prohibited. Please refer to the full policy below

❗️All local laws apply including age restrictions. For example Users in Korea under 19 cannot redeem points.

  • Definitions

    • Qualified Referral: A Qualified Referral is defined as a purchase made at speak by a person (a "Referred Customer") who arrives at our website (Speak.com or usespeak.com) by clicking a referral program link.

    • Referrer: The Referrer is the user who is sending the referral link.

    • Referred Customer: The Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same person (for example, by using a different email address).

  • Relationship between parties

    • Speak-Referred Customer Relationship: Speak has complete discretion as to who it will do business with and on what terms, including whether to accept a Referred Customer as a Customer or whether to terminate a Referred Customer, and what to charge a Referred Customer.

    • Speak-Referrer relationship: The referrer is not an employee of Speak and has no rights that would belong to an employee.

What is the Speak Referral program?


  • Receive a monetary reward each time you refer a new friend to Speak!

  • Your friend receives a discount on premium membership, and you receive a monetary reward as well!

Referral Program process


How to refer friends

  • Premium users can refer friends by going to the Speak app > Profile tab > [Invite Friends] button.

  • When participating, you must provide your phone number. Your phone number will only be used according to our terms and conditions.

    • [If you have a number that cannot receive notifications] please enable push notifications as we will send you a push from the app instead.

Referred Customers receive a discount when paying through Web Payment

  • Friends who have been invited (Referred customer) can join Speak through the web link sent by the friend who introduced them (Referrer), and if they purchase a Speak annual subscription through the same web link, they can receive a discount.

    • ❗️Only web payments, not in-app payments, are valid for discounts and friend referral rewards.

  • The discount is valid for 7 days after membership registration, the referred user must subscribe in that period to receive the discount and for the referrer to receive their referral reward.

The Referrer Receives Rewards

  • When the invited friend (Referred customer) makes a payment through the web link, the referring speak user (Referrer) will be rewarded 30 days later.

    • There is a 30-day review period for checking refunds and fraudulent activities.

      • Users who attempt to refund during this period may forfeit their reward and discount due to suspected fraudulent activity

Reward Payment Conditions


  1. All terms are subject to change at any time with no prior notice.

  2. There is no guaranteed timelines for payouts, our team regularly conducts eligibility reviews.

  3. The invited friend (Referred Customer) must join Speak as a new member through the web link. The following cases do not qualify for the discount:

    ❌ Logging into the website with an existing Speak member account

    ❌ Registering via the Speak app

    ❌ When the introduced friend has purchased the current free trial product in the app

  4. The invited friend (Referred Customer) must pay for an annual pass through the web link within 7 days of membership registration. The following cases do not qualify for the discount:

    ❌ When a free trial product is purchased in the Speak app

    ❌ When there is a record of Speak membership payment through the App Store / Play Store

  5. Speak may withhold or cancel reward payment for reasons such as the following:

    • If the invited friend initiates a refund process

    • If the invited friend discontinues installment payment

    • If fraudulent activity is suspected

    • If local laws prevent a payout due to local restrictions such as age limits

  6. Each region has a maximum allowable payment allowed, please refer to this document. Once you hit that limit, our team will reach out regarding setting you up in our affiliate program.

  7. The introducing friend (Referrer) must be a Speak premium member during the review period for reward eligibility and at the time of receiving the reward. This program is valid only for premium users.

  8. All local laws are applicable, if you referral is denied it is likely due to suspected fraudulent activity or due to local laws.

Reward Payment Procedure


  • If you meet the reward payment conditions, you can receive a monetary reward for each friend you invite.

  • Eligibility reviews for reward payments are conducted regularly once a month.

  • To receive your reward, please check the following items:

    1. Enter a phone number that can receive notifications when rewards are paid in the Speak app

    2. Check your email for a message from Speak or Tremendous

Other Referral Details


  • This referral program may be changed or ended without prior notice due to internal circumstances.

  • This referral program will be held for a limited time and may end without further notice.

  • Speak may withhold or cancel reward payment for reasons such as the following:

    • If the invited friend initiates a refund process

    • If the invited friend discontinues installment payment

    • If fraudulent activity is suspected

  • If you have any inquiries related to the event, please contact our customer center. (Speak app > Profile > Settings > Speak Customer Center)

  • Rewards will not be paid if a refund is processed after a payment has been made through the referral link by the acquaintance.

  • After the friend referral reward has been paid, the purchaser of Speak membership (the referred acquaintance) cannot receive a refund.

In Case of Fraudulent Activity


  • ❗️ It is prohibited to promise or actually pay a portion of the rewards obtained through the referral program to the invited friend.

  • ❗️ If fraudulent activity/scamming is detected through the referral program, the offending user will be blacklisted and will no longer be able to introduce friends.

  • ❗️ In the event of fraudulent activity, even if you are a paying user, your paid account may be invalidated according to Article 14 of the Terms of Service.

  • ❗️ Those who are referred should also be cautious of phrases like "If you sign up through my link, I'll transfer an additional X won" online.

  • ❗️ Speak follows the Other Terms and Policies for detected fraudulent activities.
